The magical Johann Strauss Gala brings the musical magic of old Vienna to life at Belfast Waterfront on Friday January 29.

The Johann Strauss Gala has become a seasonal favourite that captivates Waterfront audiences every year. It is the definitive tribute to €Waltz King€ Johann Strauss and his sparkling legacy, celebrating the most popular music, song and dance from the Strauss family.

The delightful Johann Strauss Gala programme for 2010 includes Wine, Women and Song; Champagne Polka; Thunder and Lightning Polka; Roses in Tyrol; Pizzicato Polka; The Laughing Song from Die Fledermaus and the glorious Blue Danube Waltz. The Johann Strauss Orchestra is directed from the violin in traditional Viennese manner by their acclaimed Musical Director, David Juritz.

Many of the most popular songs of the day - now evergreen classics - will be brought to life by mesmerizing soprano soloist, Caroline MacPhie.

Performing in gorgeous period costume, the Johann Strauss Dancers are a special highlight of the show. Their exquisite routines capture and enhance the spirit of the music, creating a magical atmosphere of romance and charm.
